In this movie clip of the Twilight Zone movie there's a man, "Bill Connor", that after entering a restaurant, starts complaining to his friends about how much he "hates" different kinds of people and why, and shows how he's truly a Twilight Zone Bigot. I think a movie like this one is good for people to watch today to be reminded of loving our enemies.
After the actor, Vic Morrow, exits the place of business he's instantly taken to another Place and Time with the help of the producers that made this movie. The place(s) where the character, Bill Connor, is taken to revolves around the prejudices Bill has about others. Bill's journey does not end until he has become one of every kind of person he has hated. Plus, Bill is shown in this journey what it's like to be one of these people! Wow! To walk in the shoes of another person and see what their lives are like!
I love what Jesus said about how we are to treat others, even those that you hate:
Love Your Enemies
"But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful."- Luke 6:27-36
I'm attaching the link to the entire Twilight Zone movie but I have to give a warning, BEWARE: The producers made the movie rated PG but I wouldn't say it's for young children, even with Parental Guidance, unless they want nightmares.
Great content! Thanks!
