Have you ever heard of WOODEN PUZZLES? I hadn't until I saw these puzzles at a Dog Show. These puzzles are sold by a company called CRAFTHUB. At first it was confusing how the pieces go together but once I figured it out than it became a game of wits! The longer you stare at the pieces the more you see special edges that make each piece unique. Since my husband is retired now and I'm almost an Empty Nester myself we have discovered that we both like to work on puzzles...

Heavenly Fabric Shop

The Heavenly Fabric Shop (H.F.S.) sells Christian related fabrics. I did a post about them before but I hadn't made a quilt from their fabric yet. I was really happy with the way the quilt turned out. I chose a panel with a Chapel in a Snowy Glittery Scene. The H.F.S. has fabrics that you can buy to accompany the panel you choose to be the main theme of your quilt. The store has a link to the fabrics that would go nicely with the panel.

Jesus’ words “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” are found in Luke 23:34. Jesus looked down from the cross upon a scene that must have been distressing to Him.
