Food Types and Your Health are Connected
What you eat and how much of it makes a huge difference in your health and weight.
I, myself, have tried different methods to lose weight but I didn't have much success until I learned about how fruits and vegetables take up more space in your stomach then fats and meats. I did the Richard Simmons diet after my son was born and was successful with that method.
Richard Simmons and the Weight Watchers diet concentrates on counting calories in order to show you that in the right amount you can eat anything (WARNING: I just looked up WW and they teach you about the injections for losing weight and I don't condone this method). The other thing that's as important as your diet is to be sure to get in whatever exercise that is possible for yourself. I, myself, have purchased a Nintendo Switch and the Zumba game and do 15 to 60 minutes of dancing in my living room. If you can't and don't want a "Switch", you can watch a YouTube class in which someone is demonstrating the dance. There's also classes at local gyms in different neighborhoods as well. I enjoy this kind of thing because I've grown up dancing for fun, plus this isn't the first time I've owned this game. If you're confused on what to do your MD will be able to tell you what they recommend.
Something really sad today is that there are people who want the decision making taken out of their hands and want to get an injection in order to curb their appetite. These people have had a lot of success but at what cost? The people using an injection to lose weight are losing weight in their face as well as their body and changing their look all together. They end up not looking like themselves anymore.
Something people want to skip over is the decision making to lose the unwanted weight. But everybody has to learn how and what to eat. If you don't learn what is the right things to eat and how much of it you're giving the deciding over to other people and that doesn't work. You have to understand what puts weight on or not.
I believe the best way to eat is to start by counting calories like people are doing with Weight Watchers. I, personally, have only a cup of coffee with milk at breakfast time (unless I'm going to be active and then I'll have a small meal; i.e. eggs and maybe half a slice of bread), but then eat a hearty salad for lunch everyday with a lot of fresh, organic (if I can), vegetables and fruit. I have found that if I eat a hearty salad at lunchtime I don't want to eat much at night. Plus, with a salad I can alternate the protein and vegetables. I, actually, only eat a rice cake with peanut butter and a half banana at night and I'm not hungry after that. But this is not to say I don't treat myself out for frozen yogurt once a week. Yum!

There's many places in the Bible where it refers to "gluttony" but I'll include a link HERE and a verse below:
"Listen, my son, and be wise, and set your heart on the right path: Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags." - Proverbs 23:19-21
