Worried About the Unsaved?

Worried about the unsaved? I was too. There's people in my life that still haven't accepted Jesus. But recently I found hope. While my hubby and I were doing our Bible Study in the morning we went over a verse in the book of Revelation that referred to the end times.
"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened....
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." - Matthew 24:21-22, 29-31 Blue Letter Bible
From my perspective, these verses suggest that there remains hope. After witnessing people depart due to the Rapture, those who are Left Behind will recognize that what we, as Christians, said about Jesus was true and will then open their hearts to Him. After then these people will want to share their new faith with anybody they can. In the end God has a purpose for these currently lost people.
I saw a movie regarding the Rapture and it was very helpful for me to see that God will still needs people that give their hearts to Jesus. If you're interested click on the link below and check out the movie "Revelation Road: The Beginning of the End". There's a girl that doesn't accept Jesus' love until after watching her Grandparents leave the Earth.
The other thing I found out about the ones left behind is from Got Questions? website:
"Will the Holy Spirit be present during the tribulation?". Got Questions explains that the Holy Spirit will still be present on the earth, being Omnipresent, and will still be saving people even then "...There will still be evangelists to empower people to save, and that means the Spirit’s presence will still be required."
The book I've highlighted in this post "Worry Less Pray More" is a great little book that has uplifting passages, and Bible verses in it to sooth your heart when you're feeling worried, and helpless to assist someone you love in your life that's going through a difficult time and you feel like there's nothing you can do for them. Donna K. Maltese has an excellent way of considering things that you might not have thought of before.
But I want you to know that the most important thing you can do for someone you love and are concerned about is PRAY MORE! There's a lot of power in prayer. I know this all too well. I try to remember to pray all through the day whenever there's anything I want to discuss with Jesus Christ. God didn't create us for us to go through this life without Him. God can't force His love on us. We have to ask for His guidance. That's the reason it's called FREE WILL. Plus, if we didn't have FREE WILL we would be God's puppets and that's not what He wanted. God created us in order to have a relationship with us. God loves us whether we love Him back or not. God can only help us if we ask Him to.
